Winter is a fantastic time to visit the area, blow away a few cobwebs and lift the soul with a walk around the nature reserve adjacent to the Morfa Lodge North Wales Holiday Park. Foryd Bay, an area of saltmarsh that is designated as SSSI is a wonderful place to view a variety of birds. Snowdonia Driving - 21 Oct 2011

Driving through Snowdonia

This time of year is wonderful for driving around Snowdonia, the roads are much quieter and you will hopefully get fantastic clear days to enjoy the Autumn foliage and shades.

We always love a run around Snowdon, up the Llanberis Pass, past Pen y Gwrydd, turning left into Nant Gwynant, over to Beddgelert and back to the Morfa Lodge Holiday Park. Take a leisurely few hours to enjoy stunning scenery and a nice cup of tea and maybe a tempting scone.
